Intro Call:  We start with an exploratory conversation to discuss the scope of your project and to see if you’d like to work with us.

Estimate: After our initial conversation we will give you an estimate. Our estimate is based on how much time we spend with you before we film, the number of filming days, and the scope of your project. Usually we film for two days in your home or another place where you feel comfortable. 

Preparation: We provide questionnaires and prompts to help you think about what you may want to include in the video.   We can also coordinate communication with a few family members and/or friends if you’d like to get their input.  Then, together we create a road map for our film session. 

Visit: We schedule a time for us to meet either in person or virtually to see where you would like to be filmed and discuss how the filming days will unfold. 

Filming Days:  We typically film for four or five hours, stopping to take breaks as needed.  Because the roadmap we created in advance is flexible, we have the opportunity to explore thoughts and memories that come up in the moment.

Editing: As we edit, we give you an opportunity to give us feedback. The final video is an authentic record of our conversation, not just a highlight reel.  People watching it will feel like they were in the room with you.

Delivery: The final product is a professional video of our conversation which is available to download online. It will be simple to share with your family and friends. We also provide a hard drive with everything we record.
